New Series! "Quantum Science Seminar”

01.09.2020

Since all Summer conferences in our research fields will likely be canceled or significantly delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic international team of quantum scientists are organizing a new “Quantum Science Seminar” series.

It’s a weekly seminar on Quantum Science for an international audience and is broadcast via YouTube live channel. The talks will be given to broad audiences. If you are a graduate student or research scientist and think that your work is related to “quantum science,” then these talks are for you.

The seminars will take place Thursdays at 17:00 CEST through July and continue again in September after a summer break in August.

Please take a look at the schedule for upcoming talks here.

They have created a program similar to what you would have seen at a conference like ICAP: a series of generally accessible talks about the latest developments in Quantum Science, broadly defined. Students in particular will benefit from being exposed to the latest research in Quantum Science.

The recorded talks will remain accessible via YouTube for the foreseeable future and speakers will be asked to provide a PDF of their slides which will be made available on the website.

The organizing committee:

To suggest a speaker, please contact the team at quantumscienceseminar@gmail.com. Please tell who you would like to nominate as a speaker, and what you think he or she could talk about. A reference or two to published results or preprints will help gauge the nomination.
