Preliminary program

Vienna Doctoral School in Physics (VDSP) is inviting Master and PhD students of physics, chemistry and materials science as well as early postdocs from all over the world to join for keynote talks by leading experts in the field which will be complemented by hands-on class activities.

The Winter School will provide young scientists with a better understanding of fundamental concepts and practical applications of machine learning as well as skills to develop and apply this technique to concrete research tasks.

The registration for interactive sessions is now closed. However, you are allowed to attend the lectures in the following dates:

Mon, 10.02.2020 – Thu, 13.02.2020

Mon, 17.02.2020 – Thu, 20.02.2020

Lectures are held from 9.00 until 12.30.

In addition, you can participate in a case study day on Friday, 14.02.2020.
